day one of popaganda Stockholm 2013

We made a visit to the festival popaganda yesterday, the perfect finish for a great summer. Kate Nash, the XX, Noah and the Whale, Ms Mr, Systraskap and such made us move our feet since 3:15 am. Probably today's bands will manage to get us to move even more.

1. Saga and CG at an art exhibition, Skeppsholmen may 2013

Got this vintage Jacques Fair shirt back from Nicki and wore it with a pink parka and blue dress pants.

#MBFW part 2

I went shopping yesterday and came home with this bag from Sandqvist. It's very simple and minimalistic, and the leather is smooth.
I also went in to Urban Outfitters and I couldn't resist to buy this foxy wallet.

So mon-tue-wed is Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in Stockholm which is always way too much fun, but it can be stressful. I started this seasons MBFW off with BACK ( Ann Sofie Back ) who I totally love, I tend to think of her as the Swedish MMM. She is one of the more contemporary designers out of the designers that are having shows now. Her collection brought contrasts to mind, when she was mixing humble,  rugged fabrics with delicate, swanky fabrics. Not only did the models bring amazing dresses but the such amazing fabrics like a reflective fabric, but it was almost holographic and it just illuded my eyes. Totally innovative and totally a handsome collection. Not to mention the music was fantastic, very vulgar rap, repeating obscene words and the occasional ''BACK'' totally loved it.

Nicki's friday outfit. Coat from Burberry, skirt from American Apparel, shoes from Skouno and top is 2nd hand.

Last night the woods offered us today's headache.

Likeable Things

A sneak peek of Nicki's outfit, more pictures coming soon.

Since the weather was a tiny bit nippier than usual I decided to go for a layered ivory/black look. It consisted of a vintage tshirt, XXL black tee bought at Target ( lol ) a black Acne Studios blazer and an ivory thin coat from Weekday. I totally love layering but it can be annoying sometimes because of comfort and utility, who wants to keep on correcting layers?? I was also inspired to layer wrinkled fabrics on one another by Yohji Yamamoto who recently presented his SS14 collection. I was relieved to see him step back into black and white and not random splashes of colour like in his AW13 collection. Yohji is great at getting an extremely elegant hobo-like look. I love it.

I wore my Nike Roshe Run premiums, and soon you'll all find out that I'm a big big sneakerhead and/or genereal shoe-maniac. peace
