I have now spent two days in Rome and I really love it. It's a city embedded with such history, and that really fascinates me. I have spent these days waddling around this city in black clothes and sneakers, only for practical reasons, also I've been trying my best to avoid looking like the typical tourist. I love the temperature in Rome right now. It's sunny and misty with a calm breeze sweeping through the narrow alleys and streets. Yesterday I felt an obligation to try the amazing Prada AW13 shoes with rugged soles. Despite my attraction to the shoe I was disappointed when I tried them on. They were way too pointy for my taste, and their sizing was way off. I guess I'm not made for Prada.
Today we went to the Pantheon and near the Pantheon there's a store called Degli Effetti. At Degli Effetti they have Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3 ( and much more ). I grabbed a pair of Maison Martin Margiela boots, to prepare myself for winter and I'm hoping that they'll last several years. In conclusion Rome is lovely and I am ( never ) shopping again.
